Hi, thinking of joining Part time (I have full time job)..Some questions..
1)Can it be possible to do so if i have full time job?
2)Which agency gives the best guidance?
3)Is the whole process very difficult to learn?
4)What i should be prepared for?
Thanks
1) Yes. Coordination is done in the morning and afternoon. Viewing is done mostly at night.
2) Big companies. I think the most important thing is you follow which group director. I looked for 4 directors before settling on the 4th one. This director is wholly devoted to manegement and has a trustworthy character. Dont be attracted by the advertisements in the newspaper. Unless you meet a trustworthy and responsible director , otherwise you are left to die cos' it requires of their time to entertain you and they just want to reach their recruitment quotas. I am no longer in the market as i dont think this job suits me.
3) the whole process is not difficult if you are not dealing with sales of HDB flats.
4) You should be prepared for negotiation for the final deal , how to protect your interests against other agents. Some agents will ask if you are willing to take lesser commission to close the deal.
Prepared to be scolded by other pple. When you adevertise , prepare to answer calls from 0730 to 2230. Prepare to spend money

. Prepared to be not spoonfed by your mentors.
If you are doing sales , you'll get your money 3 mths later, rental transactions 1 mth later.
Property is a long-term marathorn. Part -t ime , no harm trying if this is your cup if tea.
Most importantly , find a trustworthy and responsible director , remember having a team of many agents doent mean that the director is good , it only means that it is very successful in recruiting pple.
