Strict until a bit unreasonable liao...
Well... I has a friend...
She is sec 3...
Her mother just told her to stay at home all day and don't even let her to go out at all...
Yea, even in the holidays... And not even letting her to go out with her classmate...
hmm...
so what's your point on this mother?

she loves you very very much.
but she is also extremely over protective

Too me singapore is too small now hope to go oversea as singapore like @#$% totaly under control and nowhere to go must find new place.

actually, there are two sides to this.
and there are pros and cons to keeping a child in and letting him/her out.
and whatever it is, the mother is not totally at fault -

my friend (male) is 27 liao.....mother still very strict !!!
cannot close door unless is about to sleep.
he complains he can only pcc after midnight -
She has some serious serious problems. She needs professional help. Your friend is going to have some problems later in life because of this. Perhaps social, emotional or psychological problems. Or maybe all three.
Not sure about Singapore but in some countries that's considered child abuse. -

Well I think her mother is deluded. Sooner or later she'll have to be exposed to the outside world and all the horrors of it. you cant do anything about it, seriously.
i know this type of 'mother'. their thinking all is very deep-set. the only way is for her to move out as soon as she has a job, all else no freedom de. -
My mom used to be nagging queen. I am overseas now and she is in Singapore.
Now whenever she flies down , I purposely make her nag me just to hear her voice. Hahahha -
Over protective and concern about children.
