Gold as investment and something to weigh u down is not bad. Necklace on neck 7K. On wrist 4K. Gold ring on 1 finger 1.5 K. None of the hollow "kring kring" sound. We talking about purity. 999 not the 916. 999 softer.. thats why u need to buy heavier.. thicker!

Retail price = [($42 x 65) + $30] x 1.07 = $2,953
Retail price = [($45 x 65) + $30] x 1.07 = $3,161 (if 999 fineness)
Sell back, minus 28%, only can get back = ($42 x 65) x 0.72 = $1,965
Sell back (if 999 fineness) = ($42 x 65) x 0.72 = $2,106
As you can see, I get back more or less the same but I paid MORE if it's 999 fine. So, really bo hua to buy 999.... -
