Title : Man injured in fight at Lucky Plaza, police looking for suspect

SINGAPORE : A man sustained injuries on his face and arm following a fight in Lucky Plaza on Friday afternoon.
Police said they received a call at around 3.45pm, and when they arrived, they found the injured man. He was later sent to the Singapore General Hospital.
Police are now looking for a male suspect who has a dark complexion, dyed brown hair and tattoos on both arms. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured shirt.
Investigations are ongoing. - CNA /ls -

Anyway, heard it was like a samurai showdown. The victim ran and out of sudden, was ambushed. As in the other guy that was standing in the guy's direction of escaped tripped him, take out his parang and slash the victim.
Heard that an indo-chinese was slashed in his arm when he tried to help...
then the attacker calmly slide his parang into his cover and walked away from the scene...
WTF... Heard another similar case happened at clark quay...
So SG now got professional hitman who operate with parangs? -

actually i was there. the man was attacked at the road divider . the man got elbowed by the gangster and the gangster whipped out a parang(VERY BIG ONE) then started chopping him. alot of people saw this. YOU can hear the loud PIAK PIAK sound when the parang hit the man. i think his fingers got chopped off. then got security guard throw a cone at the gangster. the gangster zao into the crowds after that

So, how does it feel to witness such scene and unable to help? Got call police or ambulance for him?

These are Malay gangs.........very vicious ones...when they attack their victim with parangs, knives....they just go .....chop......chop....chop....like chopping meat. This kinda of chopping and slashing attacks were once carried out by Chinese gangs........but after the clampdown by the SS branch many many years ago and many kena detention without trial, these fizzled.......Now the Malay gangs continue the tradition.....
Maybe these latest gangs should also kena detention without trial....where there's no light at the end of the tunnel....sigh....... -

Well, it can't expect the security guard to go and help without any weapons and the guy was holding a parang...
The indo-Chinese guy was slashed for trying to help... but would you do that if you are in the scene?
I know I won't but would help to call ambulance if no one calling...
