Hi everyone here... i would like to get some comment from everyone that is here.. I think some of you had know that International Buskers Festival had been started since 1997 at clark quay till the Year 2004 and had stopped. This buskers festival bring all the buskers from all over the world to singapore to perform for abt 2 weeks time. All the money collected by the buskers were all given to the charity organisations. But due the high cost of the event and lack of sponsor the event had been stopped since the Year 2004. so i would like to get comment from people in the forum about this event and also if it were going to be organised once again would you all give your fullest support to this event? hope to hear all your comment soon.

sadly, SG is the place where ppl wanna see free show nia but no want contribute $$
we already having busking activities all year round ppl singing in the subways, quipukamak stationed outside NAC, ah peks playing harmonica at road junctions....... wat makes ppl wanna go to see a group or individual busker especially?
oso, when ppl hear of "charity" now, they would start relating to the negative incidents about misusing of funds, CEO taking first class, using a better hp than me tt kinda thing...... ppl are now skeptical, so this is yet another major obstacle
