  Under what circumstances we need to change a new passsport?

  spoilt as in defaced or torn..
  
  you do not look like your picture in the passport.. sometimes people go for plastic surgery or are hurt in an accident and do not look like their picture in the passport..
  
  the passport is used up... all the pages in the passport are stamped or stuck with visas and there is no space left for new ones..
  
  when the passport is about to expire (6 months) - i think that's an ICAO agreement internationally or the passport has expired..

  - when ur passport being tore or wear out
  - when all ur pages has been used up

  Photo different don't need change the whole passport..just use one page of your passport and paste the new photo there and some verification, can already..

  Biometric don't say la..I'm saying older passports..
  
  That's why I hate biometric passports, freakin' troublesome..so I until now haven't change to biometric passport..

  Keep going to renew it..This is what I'm doing now..
  
  Until I used up all the pages, then I lan lan have to go change to biometric one liao..
