me wan ghost story!
unker tell you one....
At the army camp. there are lots of activities even in the middle of the night. The NS boys, during those times, unlike now, have to clean up their vehicles after they come back from the night jungle exercise.
You also have guards prowling the camp throughout the whole night keeping watch. The guards commander will also at time drive a Land Rover around the camp to check on the guards to make sure that they are prowling and not sleeping somewhere.
It was not supposed to be so quiet, so eerie.
One NS boy, let's call him Recruit Lee, in the army the do not call you by your name but by your Rank and surname.
R. Lee woke up with a shock one night while he was sleeping.
His camp was previously a Japanes POW camp. In the corridor, there are concrete tables and it is rumored that the Japanese use the tables to operate on live POWs as experiment and display of dying.
They use the victims to show the Japanese soldiers what is was like for a man to die, what dying, for a man, looks like.
If they catch a dog, they will cut the dog up alive, just as they would cut up the prisoners alive, to show the similarities between, stabbing a dog, firing a gun at the dog and man and cutting the man and dog alive.
This way, their soldiers will be well trained and have no fear of dying and killing the enemy.
They don't do it everyday but they do it regularly.
Some recruits that woke up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet claimed to have seen liquid, everyone assumed that it was blood, dripping from those concrete tables, but that is another story.
This one is about R. Lee waking up with a shock that night in the middle of the night.
He was immediately wide awake, which was very strange. Army boys and especially recruits during those days, have a much harder life than recruits now. They train non-stop everyday. There is just so much to learn, when it come to "How To" kill people. It was very tiring.
The minute he woke up, he was wide awake.
"eh" R. Lee thought to himself, "why did I wake up."
He tried to listen and he realised that something was "funny".
The whole camp was so quiet. He has never heard the camp so quiet before. He was so awake and he was never so awake before.
While he was lying in bed listening carefully, suddenly...
.... to be continued.... (have to wait until my own hair stops standing on ends then continue....)
