Do schools nowadays always squeeze money from parents?

  About to send my son to school next year. Was wondering if my expenses will jump.
  
  My friend had an unhappy experience with his son's school. Maybe he blacklisted liao.

  Oh... Kindergarten... Yea, i think a bit too ex... I rmb when i was a lil' boy, i participated in this kindergarten dancing event, costume cost $20 nia.

  I last time school where got buy costumes and dance for people to see... just got a solid education and teachers with canes in hand, pointing us down the right moral path.

  But isn't the money in the edusave account taxpayer's money? And isn't taxpayer's money = your parent's hard earned money?

  Our govt. very clever at going one BIGGGGGG round and giving us benefits to make us happy when actually we made that benefit happened ourselves..
  
  Same for fireworks..isn't it heartpain to see your hard earned money "going up in flames" literally?

  Worse is when I see Primary 5 or 6 students brandishing their ATM cards..I only had it when I started in Poly yr 1..

  Hell right you are..nowadays school cares more about their own image..they may want you to get good results, but you can see they want it for their own image and not really for the students sake..

  cos everytime, u have to help ur children to sell those donation tickets.
