For those who attempt to mislead others into thinking that we as non smokers enroach into your designated smoking area and complain about the 2nd hand smoke, rest assured that such accusations will be non existent in future when these smoking areas become a thing of the past and a blanket ban on smoking become common place among such venues. Carry on pushing your luck.
If you can't read properly in your hazy environment, let me point out that the main issue here is about smokers who do not abide by the rules set in place by smoking while OUTSIDE of the designated smoking areas, blatantly violating the law, while SHAMELESSLY pointing the finger at innocent members of the public who are unfairly subjected to the harm of your second hand smoke. Don't tell us to move away and convenience you, you have no right to, legally or morally.
Such venues include coffeeshops, bus-stops, lifts, public toilets and many other venues deemed public. These addicts light up everywhere, especially worth noting are places with young children who are especially susceptible to the long term effects of tobacco smoke, children with various allergies and asthma. WHO ARE THEY GOING TO COMPLAIN TO? WHO IS GOING TO STAND UP FOR THEM? The law is compassionate enough to allow an outlet for smokers to have their smoke break. Yet they selfishly light up despite the various warnings put up, some right in their faces. What should we do to these scums? Send them back to kindergarten? For being a computer savvy but anti-social retard?
No, I say, its time we as the health conscious public fight back. I say we fight for a totally smoke free environment and start a blanket ban in all these public venues.
Inconsiderate smokers take note: no one is stopping you from killing youself, but if you want to take others along with you, you will eventually face the music, and there will be no sympathy.
