haven u ever wondered about the sociology of sgforums?

like how some ways the forum works...
e.g people preach about moral rights but do not keep to what they say/flame/insult
people say things about themselves that they really want people to see them as but are unable to have them in reality
i sense denial in people online, i admit i am guilty of it at certain times, are you? -
we see ppl form all walks of life here
one type of rice feed many types of ppl
but it's ok, tts the balance of this earth -
SgF and Hogwarts during HP5 are very similar.

we see different people here.
i see the
1.wanna-bes of other cultures
2.the traditional oldies
3.the hip n trendy fashionable people
4. the worry warts (me
)
5.the preachers n 'enforcers'
6.the snobbish middle class
7.the troubled
8.the lurkers who do not post(mainly lurking at sggirls)
9.ignorant +1 post counters
10. weird people with weird styles of talking(clones? feel good making ppl laugh?)
so many more. what do u guys think? -

depends on which social theory u look at.
but simply putting it, we can delve deeper into the different personalities, but i would like to see which category we fall in. i personally think i would be someone who seeks assistance yet am willing to help. however, sometimes i may be sacarstic for no reason whatsoever. that is my online persona. what's yours? -

ppl tend to relax and able to express more freely when they know tt ppl do not know who they are or wat background they are from.
however, u may or may not be ur true self.
some ppl take advantage of the anonymity to fake ids.... so many in sgf, if u can observe.......
some ppl take it as a channel to express their opinions or as an outlet for their emotions bcos they can't do these in real life.....
