Degree study debts!

For those who graduate with a degree, how much debt do u normally graduate with?
LIke maybe you have to pay for your study loan or do ur parents bao ka liao? -
mine was 5 digits but loan from parents.....slowly but surely paying up

Higher 5 digits from parents but in exchange for a life-long annuity
with better rates than one would get from insurance companies as long as i'm of economic value . -
using parents' CPF or bank loan?

Wah quite sian........5 figure. I would probably be graduating with a est 20k study debt. See liao also sian. Imagine half of ur salary going into paying for ur studies.

probably half half. Bank loan got interest, can accumulate to quite abit

Parents' CPF..is always better provided you pay back . All those interest let bank earn really boh hua..might as well let parents earn..

yalor. some of the damn scholars' papa are ministers, high ranking officials, so rich already still take free scholarships go overseas prestigious school study while at the same time, say singapore university v good, world class, in the end, all of them end up overseas.

i know one minister's son in NUS. nowadays so many degree holders... throw a stone in a street, you can hit at least half a dozen of degree holders...

This is meritocracy. Scholarship should only be given to those who excels in studies regardless of their family background. talk is cheap. why shld ppl sponsor somebody studies upfront 1st and reap the benefits later? now we r talking abt the mkt of undergrads who pay for their studies themselves using study loan. not high flying academic inclined scholarship holders or undergrads who use their parents' cash or cpf to pay.Originally posted by eagle:apply for scholarship -

....Is there any other damage which would tell us from which direction the windshield was struck? I believe I am the first person to point out something which no one else has noticed before. If you look carefully at CE 350, you can see that the back of the rearview mirror was dented (Figure 12). however due to economies of scale, globalisation etc the standard of living compared to the past is a total different ball game. $1 now can be worth $0.50 in future. everybody would want equal and ideal footing after graduation- earning a grad pay without any debts and saving money to get married, start a family, buy house, car etc... instead of paying off education debts. -
