purpledragon84: ha thanks a! actually can de

newagesensitiveboy: ha thanks for the comment, i'll see what i can do about it

Master: thanks for the critque. the hair is currently 70% needs certain rendering and shading, so its incomplete even though it may seem very filled up. ut i'll keep doing self-study on that part ^^
lololololx2: haha thanks alot!
metalizechicken: ha i also kena one time before tio 50plus haha. hey and i love seeing photoshop arts ^^
clandestine: thanks for the comment

i am cuurrently trying my best to perfect self-proportioning of imaginary characters. i do not have any 100% abstract works nor 100% scenery, only in the past i drew lots of animals, especially fishes. i very much agree that i need improvement in my techniques

but i'm positive that i can overcome that part ^^ i'm not enrolling myself in art school in the near future but its definitely in my list-to-do in the future

yiha: ha thank you very much

toyota-corrolla:thankies!

silvernitrate: thank you ^^. i do use 'normal' pencils. the better brand i buy ( which is only for 1 pencil grade is 8b lydra i think i spelled the brand wrongly haha ). but the rest of the oencils are just regular 2b, hb pencils. i do not smudge alot, but use my fingers to gently dap on the light shades as i build them up or slightly stroke the shadings with my finger. thanks for ya comment!
Nuad: thankies!

aiglosicide: thank you

i'll find ways to improve on that

Lorry: thanks a. i'd love to see your works!

New creation: thanks for your comment, is it the one on the Concealed nakedness?
relax_crown: thanks alot

i think i've got to work on it extra hard and see my luck!
trendz: thank you ^^
Qex: thanks

i use my fingers to dap and very slightly rub to get the shades. for the background it looks abit rough as i did not use the building up technic to make the dark shades. so to get the 'smooth' shades just gentle careful building up with slight dapping and very slight rubbing using ur fingers will do the trick. but of course using some art materials will be easier for blending

for the likeness do you mean the boa drawing? you got to somehow visually using your sight to measure the distance like from the nose to the mouth and other parts of the facial features. its almost multi-tasking when 1st time drawing it. but it comes more natural as a visual technique after some practicing.

sry if my words sound abit unclear though

Gato: thanks alot man

maurizio: haha hmmm sounds interesting! sure i'll post them!
glacer: thank you very much
