  2 years diff is not an issue bah. i don't know but i tink for it to really be jie di lian, the age gap has gotta be significant for peeps to notice. like maybe 5 years or even 10?
  
  what lian also good, most importantly, commitment to the relationship bah. if not committed, even if ge mei lian, also no use ah.

  5 years gap or below. higher than that, i think there will be age gap which means that both cant communicate well with each other.

  the thing abt jie di lian is.. there is no maximum age gap rather than an 'acceptable' upper and lower limit.

  and I find that..for the lady, there is no upper limit EXCEPT FOR how the lady looks like. If the lady 40 years old, still VERY CHIO like demi moore - then acceptable. If the lady 40 years old, look like Ah soh, then not acceptable.
