Any good methods to ask people for treats?

OK, i need a more tactful way to get back my money.
havent all of us been in a situation where people dun pay us back after a meal?
i have this fren whom almost always never pay me back after i settled the bills at a restaurant. whenever i try to let her settle the bills instead, she will come up with excuses like but i dun have HSBC, HSBC got discount la etc.
i am so sick of it. i dun wanna throw her face by asking her to pay up.
now is there any tactful way i can ask her for a treat? so that i can be sure it wont end up me paying again.
any tried and tested methods u have used and it works? -
Tell her straight to the face.

I was dining with this guy friend who's literally a scrooge and a miser..so as expected, when the bill comes, he told me this credit card was maxed..so at that point of time, i didnt have my card with me..and have cash just nice for my share..so i really didnt noe what to do..he was expecting a free meal as usual so he didnt bring cash with him also..so i told the waiter if it is possible to split the bill according to the portion we both had..so i paid my dues for my bill and left him alone..i was damn pissed with him..and at that time, he was already utterly paiseh..he was so indignant not to use his cash that he literally called my gf to come down and lend him cash..i, of course, so damn fucking pissed...asked her not to come down and left him literally alone there at the restaurant..and kinda shouted to him
"No money still come to a nice restaurant like this"
wahh..i was terrible but he really deserved it lah...so many times, i pay for 2 people..each time forking out $400 or $300...zzz
the next day, he asked me out for dinner..and gave me $1k to pay back whatever he owed me..he felt remorseful and his face was like so paiseh for wat he have done..of course, i took the money..and until now, sometimes we dutch..sometimes he treat..sometimes i treat..

but i do think that fren of yours deserve to be a fren. at least he is remorseful.

the good thing is i hardly meet up with her, but the bad thing is that's why i always forget she got this bad habit.
i dun wanna humiliate her, would rather ask her to pay back immediately after i got the receipt. but i dunno how to start?

This is what we call free loaders looking for a free meal.
You have to be tough or else you will be at the losing end all the time as she will take you for a water-fish.
If you are force to pay for the meal as she claim she don't have such and such a card just pay then ask for cash back on the spot. If she said no cash at the moment just tell her go to the atm as you need the cash NOW! Then while you are at it ask her to pay back the rest as well.
Be thick skin as it is your hard earn money too. Why must you be at the losing end all the time? But if you don't want to stand firm then sorry lor. No one can help you liao. Anyway this kind of 'friend' have or not also 'wu suo wei'

just tell her your card is maxed up by those meals that she still owes you when she say this card got promotion...
or better still... say... got promotion meh? why everytime you say got promotion, I end up paying double? -

ask her meet up for buffet.
purposely dun bring ur wallet/cards and make her pay.

Nothing paiseh. U never promise to treat her and u have no obligation to treat her share... As simple as that!
