Girls can serve NS of a different form, such as nursing or civil defense.
During war, casualties will definately be high.If there is a large pool of nurses at the back line waiting to treat the casualties, death rate would be reduced.
Futhurmore, if there is an air raid , the women can lead the other citizens into shelters in an orderly manner, preventing congestion.
Hence the medium of NS for girls need not be in the form of military -
Girls can serve NS of a different form, such as nursing or civil defense. etc etc
I agree totally with CenturionMBT view. NS for ladies need not be military related as in fighting in the front line. -

they are offering their services and expertise in an organisation on a contract basis....as like other ppl applying for jobs in a company...
they are not required to go through physical military training (like u have suggested in ur first post about women shd do "NS" )...and it's all at their own will...
pls note that this version of serving in SAF and ur intended "NS" are of different nature and purposes..... -
