singtel question

im currently on a Singtel iOne Value plan, been a year and 2 months already.
if i want to switch plan to a better one for the phone, say, iOne Student Plus, there will be no penalty imposed right?
and if so, do i get the phone that comes with the plan?

no penalty but you must show student pass.
btw, how long has your contract been?
that is:
Start of contract = ?
When's your 12mths = ?
When's your 24mths = ?
End of contract = ?
If you're doing an early upgrade, aka 12mth upgrade, please add addtional $100 on top of phone's promo price.
If it's 24mth upgrade and beyond, just get the phone at the normal promo price.

ok...my start of contract is 5 Sept. 2006
so, the 12 month period is 5 Sept. 2007.
so if i show student pass, im eligible for the student plan already is it?
then they say that change of instrument/equipment is allowed 12 months from date of purchase.
then like that how to change to the one i want? (Nokia 5610) -
