after reading the thread about the rapist, i'm wondering if any of u actually know what to do in case u being robbed/ caught in the gang fight etc;
what is the thing/ way that u have think of/ tool that u keep to defend urself?
i know singapore is 'quite' a safe place, but i supposed most of us have think of what we r goin to do in d adverse situation

I use everything at my disposal.
Some cannot defend because they are not used to the idea of kill or be killed.
As for me , I will not hesitate to use lethal force if my life is threatened or being threatened with rape.
If I have to jab into his eyes - I will.
If it is a rapist , I probably attempt to separate his genitals from him and make sure that it is 100% surgically non attachable by running off while he is bleeding there. throw it into some field where there is alot of mud or to the sewers (if they find it ....it will be totally infected with microbes) .
That is what I call justice. -

Prevention is better than cure, dun go to bad places, dun wear luxury goods, dun show off your wealth, wear conservatively, and most important, try to be at home by 8pm and most importantly, be a Daddy's gal. -
many people here suggest attacking the perpetrator, but what if he is armed? you still dare to fight back?
if it is a robber, i would think remembering as much details of the robber will be good when you go to the police later. -

You can just punch the throat and the guy would be choking for a few secs for you to get away. Or if you really want to kill, use the heel of your palm to strike upwards at the person's nose and break the nasal cartilage there. The broken bone would fly into the brain and kill him. Learnt that from the movie A History of Violence.

U guys may think that by giving in he may not harm you , but ur principles do not apply to him. You have no gurantee that he will not cut u up after u obediently hand over ur wallet. Its better u take matters into your own hands and risk it. Its do or die anyway. -

although there is no guarantee he wont hurt you if you hand over your wallet, putting up a fight may trigger the robber to hurt you. -

Well , its hard to say. Cause most people are passive and robbers tend to think the victims wont fight back. unless he is holding a gun and u are 5 metres away. If u have a chance in taking him on why not. Most robberies happen fast and you seldom have time to react to it anyways. robber-cum-murders happen more often then u think. Maybe not in SG. Lets just pray hope they dont stick one in you after u hand them ur wallet.
