Minimum GPA to Enter NUS/NTU?

I am currently a local polytechnic student. I was wondering, what is the minimum GPA to enter NUS or NTU? What are the factors that are taken into consideration?

3.5 gpa - cca's and community service are taken into consideration.

is it possible if i get perfect 4.0 but no cca record. community service got.

if no cca or community service, cant go ah?

most important is depend on the mono intake of the course.
if the course is hot favourite but only limit to certain amount of students, chance is extremely low as there r alot of students who can easily obtain 3.5 gpa. -
so wat kinda courses considered hot favs? seems like everyone wanna go U these days, all courses like hot fav also lehz....

I very sad lor. i got 3.46 GPA they dont want to accept me.
My coursemate 3.2 go in -_-
My that coursemate don't have CCA and i'm active in Sports.
Go competitions and win medals and such.
I don't really know how they classified who get the course who don't.
I applied on 2006 & 2007. Both failed and i can't appeal cause i'm have my army oversea training in taiwan and brunei.

some course may be popular but u may also consider does this course give a good prosper for ur future? or u just like the course based on ur interest dat u will do better.
gpa is not necessary a factor to enter. if u r diploma holder, u need a relevant cert in order to get in too. some uni accept students wif good cca records or sportmen representative who can bring glory to them too. -
Computation of University Score
Applicants will be admitted to the University based on their University Score (US). The US is computed using two T-score formulae based on the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level results AND Polytechnic results.
Under the current admission criteria, the University Score will be computed as follows:
Polytechnic results
80%
Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level results
20%
With effect from 2007, CCA-NS points will no longer be used for university admission score computation.
