i maybe going overseas, my plan have this free value added service called autoroam, but how do i know:
Is my autoroam activated?
When i go overseas, my phone cannot detect singtel liao it will auto find a provider?
wad is the diff between this and IDD?

it will search for provider once you reach there

autoroam free one meh? i thought it's pay-as-you-roam that's free.

mine is have the free autoroam......for first 4 months, pay as u roam is? the website veri not clear

pay-as-u-roam is when u go overseas, it will detect some provider at that country
only when u call or send sms then singtel will charge u
and if u wan to call anyone, u need to add the country code in front
for eg., calling sg ppl u need to put +65 in front of the number u wan to call -
but my plan comes with free autoroam, how lea? can use autoroam or not?

Just use and wait till the bill comes

if ur plan comes with free autoroam oredi, then there is no need to use or activate pay-as-u-roam
or u can just call singtel to make sure they have activated the service for u before u travel
will be activated within 1 working day
when u reach the destination country, ur fone will search for the best network
u may receive some welcome msgs or how to use the autoroam in that country
the network may change when u move to different places, as it only link up with the strongest network at whichever area u are (provided that country has more than 1 service provider)
u can call within that country, call back to SG or call to other countries

u have to pay trunk call charges, according to the network u using at that time
diff networks may cost differently -
