I cannot post the photo here due to copyright ..please take alook and help if possible..I nearly cry and I'm a grown man

This children can be our children too you know..have a heart and dun judge them sob -
SG parents complain about our school second language policy and heavy bags on their schoolchildren, afghan kids cannot even go to school
I was surprised that the photographer was a taiwanese who captured the struggles of the afghan children so vividly it's comparable to national geographic..with no help from rich countries, this children faced ableak future lah -
are you doing anything to help?

ask the guy who bought the 400+ million dollar condo to help........with the amount the use to buy condo, he can make a state of the art school there.....

if there are so much bureaucracy and crap that we have to endure to help the needy on our very own shore... how much must your give to cut thru all the red tape and how much will finally end up on the receipt's hand?

we get to eat juicy fat chickens everyday while they get to eat skinny chickens like wot once a year?
please lah.........no matter how poor some singaporeans are, they still get to eat rice and chicken everyday, and not fear that the next step would be the last -
i couldnt imagin how will they feel like if they come to singapore and see the kids here...here is like a paradise to them in terms of technology and food liao..u shld go see the place they live in...i dont think they even noe wht is hp or mp3...what i have to say is many singaporeans take things for granted liao...

u might see them as poor little suffering individuals. but to them its jus another day in their lives. they have no worries about bills. they have no home or car payments. they dont wori about their hp battieries running out.

When the Afgan kids grow up they will have a skill aready, they can survive, anywhere in the world.
Our kids are the one that will need help, in future.
As foreign kids are educated for the worlds' future needs, our kids are being schoolded in current needs, which would be passe in future.
Thats why we are relying on foreign talents now, instead of our own talents.
Our education policy reminds me of my uncle entrepreunal spirit. In the 1980s when guave was a hot item. My uncle got a plot of land in Johore, and started growing guava trees. However before the trees mature, the trend died down, and the price of guave went down. Guava then was not worth the effort. It was an expensive lesson.
Foreign 'talents' will be here, due to the global turn of events, while our local talents will have basic education, with obsolete skills. -
Tell Al Gore to help lah, since he won a Nobel price for saving the earth. Who knows, he may win another Nobel prize for saving Afghan kids.
