Why angmoh funerals never cry?

I find that Asians tend to be more emotional in funerals than angmohs...
Is it cause of their culture and religion?I heard that one should be glad that loved ones departed from our world of sufferings, according to my teacher back then
You do not see their emotions outright unlike asians who tend to be more weepy ... -

I have never been to an ang moh funeral.
Only see in movies and TV, and that also just acting one some more. Not a true representation. -

angmohs are less emotionally attached to their family members...they dun really care alot bout parents..they think their parents giv birth to then so its their right to raise them, and they dun need to repay coz its the parents duty.

dun cry doesnt mean not sad of losing their loved one.
we, buddhists r told not to cry when our loved one passed away, this is to prevent the dead of having idle thot of living in this world, thus causing him to rebirth in life n death cycle again. -

i dont know where u all see it from but all the funerals of i have been too i see them cry.
they are more emotional as a people compared to us asians and for various reasons like what 798 stated above, i have always thought that they cry far more than us. -
i think they are more emotional la.
u see those disasters happening, they always hold some silence moment n cry.
but i think they are less attached to their parents cos its their 'tradition' to move out after reaching certain age, then it is all by themselves. -

WHAT TO CRY WHEN A PERSON IS CALLED HOME TO BE WITH THE LORD? NO MATTER HOW THAT PERSON DIES, FATAL ACCIDENT OR TERMINAL ILLNESS. THEY ALL KENNA CALL BACK HOME.
