What to do when u lost ur phone?

just lost my phone recently. so I cancel my line.
my fren told me to report to police.
So wat do u excatly do when u lost ur mobile phone? Thx for any help. -
Report IMEI number to police, if you don't have good luck lor ..

but I duno my the Imei no. so guess it is really good bye to my phone then? But there are some intresting features on my phone though.

Next time should record dwn ur IMEI number. Press *#06# can alrdy.
Report police. Or cancel ur line lor. -

not the 1st time. The 2nd time. had already cancel my line, not yet report to police. Dun think the person who pick up my phone is a good person, cause when i called my phone, it was the voicemail.

There's really a limit to what the police can do for you.
I notice that some people never get their lost handphones back, while others always will.
Unfortunately, I belong to the first category -
call telco to cancel the line
report police (not to get ur fone back but in case someone use ur fone for illegal deeds)
go telco get replacement sim card, buy new fone
move on with life -

It's not really about the phone itself or possible of incurring huge bill, but.....
it's because there's a lot of sentimental messages in the phone which were sent by my friends.
