hi all,
just curious......for those of u who work in office environment got the air-con.....do u sometimes see the webbing area of your fingers like very dry, very scaly looking like that? it's like cracky and rough....is it because of the air-con dehydrate the skin?!

i've ever heard pple saying that its not dat gd to stay in an air-con environment for too long coz it will leave your skin feeling "dry"

Yes it's if the aircon temp is too low, ask your admin to put a request for 21-22 degree. Below that bring more problems. Dry skin n dry nose is most coomon one.Originally posted by Nikar2:hi all,

Agreed that aircon will dry u up, in term of skin, i use moisturise cream on my body and in term of health, get a steam condenser in your office to enchance the eater vapour in the air.Originally posted by Nikar2:hi all,

Just wondering if putting a pail of water in front of the aircon, will it help preventing skin from drying up?

No effect on me. Maybe because I got sweaty palms. Even air con can't dry it up. Haha
On the contrary, it can sometimes make it worse. But I think that's due to stress. When I'm stressed, the sweaty palms situation is quite bad. A dry towel can become a wet one. -
