He caught a student with a privilege background cheating during a contest and many years later he was caught again cheating as a successful CEO when he was invited to open the same contest about roman history in a country club.
The teacher was sad that this pupil has not learn his lessons as ateenager and even want to run for senator, the ex pupil rebuked his teacher saying"What virtures, what principles, this world is about lying and cheating, who cares as I get what I want, look at you as ateacher. what have you got to show for all this years!!"
So does elite schooling produce people with no moral conscience??
personally, from what i have experienced, well, kinda. the "cream of the crop" in a lotta schools, their students tend to learn that this is the way to the top, and the environment literally and sometimes accidently prove them right. doing morally wrong things like backstabbing to get what they want, manipulation etc. it's kinda scary
