actually i think slopes look cool only on some people.....
although some people may say that our hairstyles does not affect our studies, i say yes and no to it......
some people just want to be the way the want to be without other's bothering them....
but then there are also many people that are too over self conscious and this self consciousness is wot is affecting their studies....
thats why i agree that singapore should keep a standard in length etc. of the hair.....although i do not agree with spiky hair.....most boys nowadays use this to attract the people they fancy in school which in turn could lead to them instead of concentrating on their studies, all they can think of is the opposite sex..... -

actually ah one thing about singapore that i hate is be it the guys and the girls, they are too self conscious.......and they dun appreciate individuality.....
over here got girl laugh at curly hair say not cool what not....you go to australia, america etc....they unlike us dun see a person by their looks but by their character......you go see all the poster of ang moh guys at boutiques normally got alot of curly hair wan.....they dun critisise people by their hair and thats wot i like about them....which i hate about us..... -

If we schools allow boys to keep long hair, colored hair, and don't know what not, these would be the same bunch of spoilt brats that will enter organizations like the Army, or businesses in future.

Who says after students cut their hair short, they won't feel self conscious? Now, they will feel even more self conscious because people take them outta their comfort zones & force them to cut a standard hairstyle, which they feel uncomfortable with.
This will affect their studies even more because they keep thinking how sh!tty they look & cant concentrate. -

No, it's not only their prob lol. It becomes a prob that the teachers need to solve too if students are affected by their rules. I think its rather irresponsible to be like 'well thats your prob i dont care but you gotta do it because it's the rules' imo. Schools shouldn't set rules that might affect their studies.
