  Earthquakes can happen in any part of the world. What makes the TS think the very next tsunami disaster will befall on US first? It might happen to philippines or Singapore first.

  IF tsunami really hit US then East Asia and South East Asia countries can have time to run from coastal area. Tsunami does not just move towards West coast of US only if triggered on the that area.

  The tsunami won't even hit Asia, it will hit the eastern US coast. Pay attention in geography class!!

  My mistake. I meant to say earthquake can happen near asia and not just near america. So Next major tsunami may hit indonesia instead so TS is wrong to say next major disaster will hit US.
  
  In other words, there is something wrong with the title. It should just read: Major tsunami disaster may hit US.

  Because geography and common sense tells us so. I didn't say it will only affect the USA coastline btw, it could affect most of the Americas.

  US already had its share of tsunamis over history. The world's biggest tsunami was in US, over 500m ( !!! ) high, in Alaska. In case you're wondering, only a few people lost their lives. Their boat was overturned by the wave.

  Don't forget horr.. SINGAPORE may have a major flood due to glaciers melting which result to ocean increase of water level. i watched COUNTDOWN TO DOOMSDAY!! but not what peops have been talking here lahh.. not the 21.12.2012..

  yup, i watch a documentary on it on Discovery a couple of years ago when the tsunamis hit.

  Yeah the article never mentioned anything about the NEXT major tsunami disaster may hit US. The article only said a major tsunami may hit US.
  
  The next major tsunami disaster may occur at indonesia again. (from a different epicentre obviously). So the title of this thread is wrong. It should just be 'A major tsunami disaster may hit US' and not the NEXT.
