pushy contractor just came to my house.....

claims that they are doing ceiling works, i let them in then they ask me when i can let them do the repair.... i said can't confirm coz dunno when i'm free, why not u leave a number and i'll call u back.... but they refuse to give.... i?????? then how i confirm? then tok bout payment, i say no money leh..... then they say nevermind lah, we do end of the month lor.... then i agreed.... then one of them say i must put a deposit first, then i tulan and tell them i'm not going to pay for anything now..... the funny part is they refused to give me their contact number....
i smell a scam.... please inform the elderly in ur house....
