A book on filial piety

  Just now I read a book on filial piety.The book is a bit like ancient book.But luckily I can read traditional Chinese character and wen yan wen( ancient way of writing).It said must obey parents at all times and promote yang er fan lao this traditional value.It said we must treat our parents well no matter how they treat us.Actually this book is recommend by a friend.

  Yang er fang lao (Having kids to safeguard your retirement) is kind of an old concept. So many children don't take care of their parents these days.

  yup, sad but true. we can raise our kids, but we can only hope they will care of us when we are old.
  
  To me, its not so much of financial support, but more for the company of our loved ones.
