Those old folks or uneducated ones everytime spit bones on the table, then the cleaners just use a dirty cloth to wipe. If you put your chopsticks and spoon on the table, you will be savouring somebody else's saliva and mucus.
Normally I rest my chopsticks on the sauce dish, else I put on/in the bowl. -
