Why do people tell trolls to get a life?

  I have not understood this. People that hang out on the Internet should not tell another person to get a life.
  
  I will give you an example. Yahoo answers have a lot of trolls. Everyone there are spending their day to collect points. And with those points they report trolls. What they are doing is to keep yahoo clean. They are working for free. They make Yahoo billions and they don't receive anything.
  
  And trolls are bored people that want to laugh a little. But who is it that need a life?
