i remember i had this trusty red/lightgray dictionary.. small small one...
it's so tricky to use a chinese dictionary... if you don't know how to read the word, you must use bi3 hua4, then if you don't know the bi3 hua4, sometimes you count wrongly and end up looking in the wrong column... -
i remember the dictionary i brought in with mi to O levels exam....

saved mi from a lot of blank squares

nowadays i don't have the patience to even sit through one episode anymore.. i break it into two sittings
usually at night when i approach the kitchen sink, i will stand there for 5 seconds and make some noise first... because sometimes the lizard will duck back behind the cupboard and give me a fright. Kinda paranoid there was even once i broke a cup because I thought there was a lizard on its side and dropped it onto the floor. -
