Yeah, I know san guo zi is more accurate recorded by chen shou. However, I disagree that romance of 3k by Luo guan zhong "godified" Lu bu character. yeah, you can say romance version godified alot of chars.. such char like Zhuge liang which was very much over-rated in the tv series, and char like Guan Yu; dont people think he is noble and loyal? but look how he die, he was arrogant and fall into Lu meng's trap. it's romance of the 3 kd which "godified" lu bu. though he's still the strongest recorded in san guo zi..
Lu Bu, on the other hands... people say that he is disloyal and stuff.. but think of a longer way... If Dong Zhuo was to rule China, guess how many people will die? I guess he was more cruel than Japanese invasion... Lu Bu was somehow 'chosen' to end the hardship but nobody remember.. "If you cant win him, join him.. if you think you can win him, then kill him" That's how his legend start....
As for Liu Guan Zhang, they are nobody during Lu Bu's era. If you want to be famous, defeat Lu bu or at least ended a draw with him... That's how they got their fame.
Lastly, Lu Bu was from northern where Mogol was.. And Mogol was a tough country last time and bore many great warrior like Gengis Khan. So, Lu Bu got some toughness there already...

Yep Romance of the 3 kingdoms is a novel written by Luo Guan Zhong and actually some of the incident in the novel did not happen in history. Anyway I played the Dynasty Warrior Musou 4 which is Dynasty warrior 5 English version... I really like the created officer part serving as a random soldier to become a general. -

Lu Bu is "godified" in romance of 3k cuz the stories have described him as virtually invincible. and during the hu lao gate, i think in actual, he did not fought with liu guan zhang...
and yes, i agree, zhuge is too overly godified in romance of 3k.
anyway, the best char i like is zhao yun and cao cao only.
always the best average stats in any 3k game
btw, i cant rem where i read the report, saying dunno zhang fei is not black black de, and in fact he is v well versed in art of war + handsome scholar look.. -

Even if he didnt fought Liu Guan Zhang, his war skill is above almost all char in 3k era. I believe sanguozhi also stated that Lu Bu was actually famous for his marksmanship.

I remembered once in charlet.. everyone was in the room and I told them that i wanted to watch 3k (which was shown in channel 8 last time)... then they are like 'wah lao... graphic so lame.. etc' and they left.... only me and my another fren watching that show... lol.. that time shown zhao yun on killing spree rescuing ah dou... lol.. hiong sia.. -

In case no one knows, Lu Bu is one of the most strongest and fearsome warrior at three kingdoms period. Well, in term of strength, it takes three brothers; Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei to just barely make him withdraw from battle. (It's Dong Zhuo who rings the bell)
However, he is just over-rated in Dynasty Warrior series..
Famous saying: Amoung horses, there's Red hare ; Amoung men, there's Lu Bu.
