I believe this is either a display set or a set been used by the iinternal staff and placed back. To what i gather, all products at Harvey, court, audio house or Best etc etc are on consigment sales, they dun own any of the products, it belong to all the manufacturers, they are only the dealers (middle men), there will alway be a display set and maybe a few stored in the shop (small items), those big items will need them to call up the manufacturer to supply to your house. So in such case, as a camcorder, which is a small item, it was placed in the shop and the sales guy/gal must hv used it for themselves. You can also go straight to the original manufacturer to file a complain as harvey violated their product and brand name.
Most of the sale guys/gals/gays are school drop out former or present Ah bengs and ah Huays, they hv no servicing or sale skills, and they look at peoples to do business. They are not the people who do the sale, it is the company and the manufacturers' brand that do it. They just sit there and wait for you to buy. -
