in some places, it's the customers that have attitude problem...
whereas for other, it's the promoter...
so before u as a promoter/customer complain, reflect on ur attitude 1st.. -

I dunoe bout the black label ones but i noticed G2000 recently staring to hire aunties and unkers..
But sum aunties are quite friendly though..

Anyway the level of "priced shop" (in ur words) shouldn't be the only factor in determing how good customer service should be. Are u saying consumers deserved to be humiliated or subjected to poor treatment because they are only shopping at an "average priced shop", and only at top-end boutiques do they deserve good service... -
I really do like some of the black label range of shirts, which explain why i returned several times in the same month to get a few more items...
I spend a good 30 mins in the shop to shop for my business wears and just couldn't help but noticed how inexplicably indifferent and somewhat rude the staff generally were. Absoutely no help was offered to any of the customers there, and any request for sizes were met with a blank, silent response from the staff.
Customer service is virtually non-existent in the shop - in fact at one point, i even felt like i was imposing on the staff. Can u imagine me as the consumer having to smile and implore politely for the staff to get me a size, and there wasn't a single word uttered by her, other than a slightly irritated look on her face.
Was i expecting too much or were the staff just having a bad day?
But thinking back, if i could get enthusiastic or at least friendly service staff at a budget clothing store or fast-food outlet for purchasing a $2 burger, I really don't see why I should be subjected such treatment at a shop where i pay a few hundred for my shirts. -
you can go up and ask them to respond to you. if not write a note to the manager or something? but if i were you i wouldnt want them to come and serve me lor, just let me choose myself. as long as i get what i want in the end, who cares?
i used to work as a sales assistant and im those very nice and approachable and get things done for you. but in the end still will kena complain. sometimes when people say the service is bad, we must see whether customers are right in the first place lo. "customers are always right" - that is BULLSH!T. -

by reading all of the reply i found a way for consumer to get staff when needed n no need them stand aside liao
all sale staff stand a corner no need greet or do anything special.
when customer want them to help customer go pick a staff to help than after asking question ask staff stand back to the corner when needed than get them so no one follow u n u have no trouble of ppl following u lah
sound like go geylang fish tank who pretty ask them out for service after that they go back fishtank if u still one ask them again -
omg..have u guys been to Vivocity's Zara men?..their service are far worse than that!...the salesmen thought that they look cool in their outfit provided by Zara..and so they gave the 'dao' looks..i cant stand it la..feel like slapping their faces at that time..kaoz..they forgot that we're customers and they are SALEMEN sia...i wld be so dam grateful to meet a polite and courteous saleperson.

from an objective point of view, the customer service of those in sg is incomparable to those in western countries. Visit a LV shop in orchard, take a look and walk out. The service assistants will give that gloomy face.
Do the same when you are in australia; the service assistants will still smile widely at you.
The culture here is that when you step into a shop, they expect you to buy or they'll wanna serve you only when you wanna buy. It's too realistic here. -
some times take bus oso the driver will bother to greet when u board n wll oso say bye when u alight .. i don see y is it so hard for sales ppl to be more service oriented ......
trust me they gonna ruin singapore's image if they remain this way esp the F1's coming ... gonna attract tourists .. if give this kind of service to tourists .. how u expect them to spend more money in sg ?
