Reality VS Expectation

Some say sky's the limit that if u set high goals, u will be able score as high as possible, but not necessary reach that high goal.
Others prefer to aim low and be able reach 'em or be able to reach all of them as possible.
The aims must be realistic, yet it must test one's potential.
And if u reach a "high" end goal, will u go for another similar "high" goal?
then again your high aim may to be others low aim
eg. will be like sch exams, GF/BF, career, basically things u want to do
is reality cruel or what? -
when you expect too much, reality gives you a smack in your face

Theres nothing wrong setting Goals....Unless you dont have the confidence to get them.....

i am not starting a thread to get flamed, i just want to know how to meet expectation with reality.
u cant deny there are alot of ppl who set high expectations, realistic or not.
i do not expect alot from others but i expect alot from myself.
