pl tel me what is the cost of living in singapore .food / house and transport

1 day, 4 rides eg...2bus and 2 train rides for the whole day...
$5....
1month/30 days=$150
Food....
A standard lunch including drinks should cost around $7 depending on what you spend on......Unless you can survive on prata for whole month which is around 70 cents per piece for a plain and 1.30 per piece prata with for eggs
Say you spend 7x3x30=630
If you can survive on 2eggs and a plain for every meal including a drink which would cost around 1.20, you'd be spending like 4.50
So 4.5x3x30=405
You could be saving alot but i dun think you'd want to survive only on prata and iced milo....
i'd conclude an average meal to be around $7 and transportation to be around $5..... -
I can survive relatively well with 500 for personal spending. I eat home for most meals. Transport costs me about 150 a month.

It's okay lah. If i were to eat outside everyday, it'd be reduced to almost nothing. Food around CBD area about $7 for a meal. 7x20=140. If I stay out or go somewhere to do my assignments, it'd be about 280. Couple that with transport and misc stuff, it's okay. hmm for me i spend $2.50 for my train rides to and fro. so a month i'll spend maybe $80 to $90 for transportation. work and jalan jalan la.
food,if my mom cook ill tapau her food and bring to work.if not.. ill spend $5 for meal and drink. sometimes nothing to do spend on snacks all these.
ill say ill spend $400 max on neccesities.
u sri lankan got S pass anot or just normal worker's permit.u must pay rent for your lodging also. rent is usually $140 a month. Worker's permit u pay MOM around $150 a month? if im not wrong its $5 a day for u to work in singapore. -

Food = ($4 food + $1.2 drinks) x 3 meals x 30 days = $468
Room = $500
Medical = $30
Transport (no taxi rides) = $4 x 30 days = $120
Clothes = $150
Handphone bills = $20
Miscellaneous (e.g. toiletries, movies, music cds, computer, internet) = $150
Total cost = $1,438

It was on channel U quite a few months back, the Lee family flies their chef over to Japan to buy the freshest sushi for dinner. -

We don't have to eat everyday too, we can save heaps if we eat a meal every other day, or eat a meal a day.
We can save on toiletries too, take a bath every 2 days, brush our teeth every 2 days, shampoo our hair once in a week.
We can take away the handphone, TV, internet and computer too.
For entertainment we can stare at the walls try to visualise ourselves in a comedy, or put in extra hours of work so that we can be more competitive.
