The Difference between Being Rich and Being Poor...

...is a freedom of choice.
If I am poor, I can only lead a frugal life.
If I am rich, I can CHOOSE to lead either a lavish life or a frugal life.
I want that choice in life.

I used to think that being rich can be happy regardless. True , cause when u are upset u can pamper urself. How many around u are truly ur good friends. People agreeing because of fear ? reserved ? where are the honest opinions ? All that money so u can buy alchohol n drown urself in it.
I say the difference is an advantage.

The philosophy and definition of a word as elusive and relative as 'happy' aside, few are going to deny the fact that money brings quality of life and that in turn makes you happier as a person. I do know that what differentiates the middle class from the super high class lies in the kind of up-scale people one meets.
Those who are super high class people are folks who have the contacts; who know the right influential folks, who are able to get their ass in director boards of big companies thru insider help. That is the biggest difference.
To make it big, you gonna start by knowing the right influential people at the right place and right time.
Otherwise, sure you can be a little happy peasant and live out your life fighting 5-6.5% inflation per year; marry a villager woman, make out , have kids, sleep, work and repeat the cycle again.
All depends how you wish to waste your life or enjoy your life. -
That's why, start networking when you're younger. Keep people as acquaintances even though you may not like it much. In this age,no money no talk. Some are just born with a silver spoon in the mouth. Because their parents work hard to make them what they are today. So in a nutshell,work hard will earn you money not happiness. -

Like this, even with a $1000 monthly income, u can still save up a significant sum and feel rich. A simple life.
Or u can have $2000 income, but hp bill of $200, eat fast food or restaurant every so often, high electricity bill, and complain salary isn't high enough.
