knn today i cut hair at malay barber, increase by $1

haircut price increase by $1...damn.
the shop outside never say increase by $1. then after cut finish the pakcek say $10 instead of the usual student price of $9.
he say becoz of chinese new year, n i tried to bargain n ask for discount to the usual price he say cannot... n somemore he say anyway only once a year increase price.
i feel its unfair that they take advantage of a upcoming major holiday to try to earn extra money from us consumers.
any of u who cut hair these days encounter price increase? -
