you are too str and inflexible. Store says dun try, you really dun try meh? Aiyo, take a pc of used recipet from your wallet and then test your pen on it. Aiyo, no 1 buys any thing without testing it one.Originally posted by forumer84:I bought a Pilot Rexgrip pen from one of the major bookstores. As the bookstore did not allow the testing of stationery and i was in a hurry, i just took the pen and paid for it.
A few days later, i found that the pen had run out of ink. Curious i took out the pen refill and found that it was empty.
My only conclusion was dat someone had STOLEN the ink refill by unscrewing the bottom cover of the pen and inserting in an empty one and replace the pen to the shelf.
Simple way of cheating i must say but the moral of the story is always to check the ink refill is full before buying any pen.
juz my 2cents.
even if try also no use coz left abit of ink onlyOriginally posted by New Creation:you are too str and inflexible. Store says dun try, you really dun try meh? Aiyo, take a pc of used recipet from your wallet and then test your pen on it. Aiyo, no 1 buys any thing without testing it one.
Maybe they sell the pen only, but not the refill, the refill inside only act as a dummy. So, go buy the refill ya.Originally posted by forumer84:I bought a Pilot Rexgrip pen from one of the major bookstores. i was in a hurry so din test the pen but the main thing is to highlight the cheating method.Even if i had tested the pen, there would still be ink as the pen lasted a few days of writing. so its not competely out of ink when i bought it.
And angel, ya dats a nice one there huh ![]()

I was told while at a Popular bookstore that they don't allow testing of pens at the pen rack simply because there will be small kids who will use them to draw all sorts of things on the pieces of paper provided. But you can always approach one of the staff around for paper to test on and they will most likely give it to you.
TS probably got one that was tested by many kids. :lol:
next time i will do just tht when my pen runs out of ink. go popular and swop!
ROFL.
Kidding. =p
Popular pens are worst. People just keep testing them ALL DAY. then choose 1 to buy.
when i buy pens from popular i always bring along a small piece of paper in my wallet so i can test it myself.
yeah i hate buying pens nowadyays..esp at popular..each pen is wrapped up in a plastic wrapper..u cant test it at all...
i kope pen from my friends. donnoe how come pen will appear in my pencilcase..
or sometimes people forget to bring home i go take and use.![]()
you realise of course that testing at the store would not have alerted you to the small amount of ink left in the tube
