The 3 big problems of the new layout

i understand this has been a much talked-about topic, but by highlighting some things i hope that they'll be made known, instead of being locked and marked "continue in existing thread" and be consolidated.
problem 1
sign in is on another screen. i have to click on sign in then can go into the sign in page. no wonder i haven't been posting. cos it takes too much trouble to go back to where i left off, if i can remember at all.
problem 2
my topics is gone. i always began my login sessions replying to whatever comments people made about threads i participate in. now that it's so hard to keep track i no longer do so.
problem 3
i always believe a good website is one which has as few scrollbars as possible. now this one has tons. even in a single reply alone, say car pictures, a slightly larger one will spill over such that it's impossible to view it in full.
these are the 3 main problems in my personal opinion.

the user must click on the smiley tab >> scroll down >> click smiley tab again if he/she wants to use smileys like

that happens for me.. im usin IE, not sure of other browsers -
