  i believe most parents won't let you go anywhere if they can do that but some know that you want a life of youself therefore they let you go........

  my only fear is if i'd die before my mother and whether i had been a good son....hmmmmm......

  omg... too over protective.

  my sister has been all the way to NYC with her bf and she's just hit 22. her 1st time going overseas with her friends was when she was 17 and they headed to Aus for their holiday and that was for a month. I've been living in Toronto by myself for 3 years already..

  I didn't say every parent will allow, but every kid should be given some freedom. singaporean kids are way too spoilt by their folks. over protected kids.

  yeah, thats the only way kids will learn to be independent. save for your own god damm trip ! i travelled alot with my buddies and learnt alot seeing the world without the folks tagging along.

  i think that if you have prove to ur parents that you are able to take care of urself then they would not be so worried though

  actually i think most sporean kids around the age of 15 do.....

  not every sporean is rich you know

  I have not been all around the world but i have been to places you would never imagine......its unlike places people who only dream of the luxurious europe or slack down under would dream.....

  never compare sporean kids to foreign.....

  look at our counrty.....

  everybody gets to afford chicken everyday.....

  look at some of those countries providing the chicken......some of their citizens barely have enough to afford chicken......

  see the difference.....singapore is safe at a price.....look at the US.....wtf is wrong with its people? got the mind to go around school killing people.......

  in denmark for example, if the parents shout at their kids, their kids would normally taunt their parent that they could file for child abuse......its like blackmailing your own parent man wtf......

  kids use this priveledge against their parents......they forget where they came from......
