ALL my clothes become really really thin after one or two washes. all my white shirts are now completely unwearable unless i want people to see through my shirt. my thickest, most expensive and newest shirt is now thinner than the singlets all those ah peks wear (only ONE wash). it is so obvious that everyone's clothes are spoilt but i'm the only person in my family who bothers and i am very pissed off with my maid.
i checked the washing machine and everything and nothing is wrong. so i believe it has something to do with my maid's ironing but i dont know about ironing so can anyone enlighten me?
She add too much bleach issit
Or issit yr expensive shirt have to dry clean but she throw in to the normal harsh cycle

quite powerful to wash until thin after 1 or 2 washes...if bleach is not used...then need to look at the quality of the clothes itself...but then again..."thin" can be quite subjective.![]()
just to add...expensive clothes doesnt always mean good quality cloth.Sometimes all U are paying is the price of the logo/brand.
Check what wash cycle your maid is using... some are longer and more vigorous than others e.g. for cotton, takes about an hour, others are shorter and gentler... if your clothes not so dirty can go for a shorter wash. I think some machines have very rough spin dry functions too...
Yours is a top-load machine I 'm guessing?
thin as in enough to feel the difference after a few washes. which didnt happen before my maid came. its not just my expensive clothes lar, all my clothes man lol. i dont think it is bleach. and i dont think its an issue with quality since all my clothes and pants have ended up like that and they are of varying quality.

You should look at how the maid washes the clothes from soaking right up to ironing. Not likely is equipment problem, more a process problem.
clothes don't spoil.
Guess u should just clean or wash your own clothes next time
thing is i dont know much about laundry and my mum just cant be bothered to check even though she whines about the clothes all the time ![]()
My house use cheap cheap National washing machine, all my cheap and poor quality tees get ruined after a wash.. Otherwise, everything else comes up as per normal.
