Free entry to Singapore Airshow 08.

Those who went to the airshow today, did anyone collect or check the tickets you are holding?
Today I went and from the moment I board the 'free' shutter bus at Expo to the site area, no one collect or even check if I have a valid ticket or not.Once you enter the 'registration' booth, all you need to do is to put all your belonging thru the X-ray machine. Guess wat I saw? The 'security' officer dun even bother to look at the tv monitor.
So whats the point of putting so many of these X-ray checkpoints booths?
