in life i think compare with those less fortunate than ourselves instead of those more fortunate than us. then we will b grateful. at least got hands n legs not handicapped. poor ppl can bcome rich tom n rich ppl can bcome poor tom. nothing lasts forever.

aiya, think for them, last time, my parents need to pay for 3 cars and a flat then money was tight, I had to work during my holidays and use the money for anything I needed. thankfully i had my savings to eat into.
maybe you can get a weekend job? get an extra $50 every weekend also not bad.

work mah, my parents everyday sleep 6 hours to wake up in the morning to work, my parents which operate a canteen mess in 2 different army camps. that is the price for wanting to live in comfort, thats why I see now, everyone in my family, their parents' hope, my siblings' dreams all rest on me to go to university and become a U grad.and partly because, my father side, look down on my mother's side even though its not obvious because my mum's side is poor. thats why I must study hard to prove a point and make my parents proud.

Handphone bills, boardband bill, transportation, school books, clothings...
I guess $100 dollars per month isn't enuf to cover this...And...
I have not mention about foods...

I am able to get a phone that i like, a personal desktop.

If you really feel your parents are bad...
Prove to them that you can be better then them...
if not you are the same...
Just let them see that you can control your spending better then them...
Let them see that you can better in salary compared to them...
But how? You studies... Your certs... Those things are your future...Or in the future, let them see that you can be a better parent then them...

dude, if you're 17 years old, i might have a job that you can work during weekends, $6/hr and its quite flexible and hard to be sacked from.. -

i have already quitted with saving in bank...
I started from a crew which is $3 per hours til today i can have up to $5 per hour...
i was a crew leader before i quitted.
i am having my O's this year and i do not want my studies to be affected...
McDonald's isn't the only choice...
There are loads of different jobs out there with better pay though... -
u think those rich kids are actually rich themselves? its their parents cough out money give them buy branded clothes. unless those kids earn their own money and buy cars and their own clothes than ok they rich,but actually they are same like most of us. its only they got ppl feeding them money. please dont blame your parents. im sure if they can give you everything in the world,they would. im not from a rich family either. very very average family. but i can see how much my parents are trying to give me the best in everything. for this i told myself i must work hard and give them a very good life in their old age. and i will.
