I still remember my days in kindergarden in the 1990s. My kingergarden was last time located at Bedok South. Still remember seeing those Volvo B10M MKIV DM3500s on Service 12 so many times but no chance to board. Finally got the chance to board a Volvo B10M MKIV DM3500 somewhere in the early 2000s.

I remember seeing signs that tells you that you could use your handphone in that area and payphones & phonecards were so common that you can see it in every corner.
I also have taken buses with those loud engines (replaced by Scania N113 NAC), SBS and Trans-Island still have those "OMO" (one-man-operation) and buses with sliding doors for the exit. Woodlands used to have many different bus terminals all over. Air-con double deckers did not exist then.
Kids used to have those tamaguchi, digimon and GameBoy devices with each other a lot. Oh, schools used to have those green blackboards that uses chalk. I remember dusting out the duster and playing with the chalk by drawing everywhere.

Back then there is Zone-phone, that's why they need to put signs on where you can use the phones.
I still remember ETACS phones are like $3000 each.
When GSM first came out, phones are $1500 there. And when you are called, you will hang up in 15 seconds, and tell that person you will call by public phone.
Vibration mode on telephone means you need to attach a vibrating device on the phone.
I miss my Ericsson GH 388.

First PC was running Windows 3.1. Only got to use Windows 95 in school in 1998...hated computer lessons then cos my school building was those old and small type. Every computer lessons had to squeeze with another 39 more people in a small lab (converted from one of the classroom) where movement was difficult. Once you are in, it's difficult to get out until end of the lessons. Another lab was slightly better cos it was converted from the PE equipment room... more spacious.
The whole class queueing up after recess on one day of every week to brush teeth under the eyes of the school dental nurse in Primary one. Prices of bee hoon was only 50 cents but the portion was not enough as I grow up. My friend bought a crabstick for 10 cents if I'm not wrong and shared it with about 6 of us... we peeled a bit by a bit but I think the crabstick was spoilt and never ate much. Vomited that night and did not dare to eat crabstick again until I was in upper sec.
My father was still driving a pickup which he use to ferry the whole family when going out. I think that belonged to the company, so I only got to enjoy it during P1, after that, he became a taxi driver.
Quite common to see those ah peks wearing tai sing slippers (white surface with blue strap)if I don't remember wrongly. A few years ago I used to wear them, cost $2 only.
