Customer act tough and curse well but can't fight. So sad. He showed so much intelligence cursing at a man chopping away with his chopper. He is so pathetic to lose his fight against a 60 year old man when he is supposedly younger and stronger. So sad..
Some people think that just because they are not in the wrong...they can just scold other people like nobody's business.
customer scold a little bit to make his point can already...still want to go all the way...serve him right.

Eh... even if it's not up to your standard... no need to curse and swear at their parents. Serves him right for that. Although violence doesn't solve anything. Hope he learns his lesson well and keep his language + mouth in check.

Ya I agree man's ego has to be upheld but then sometimes we need to think of the consequences. In ancient china, swordman can kill people without getting punished. Sadly, this social norm had changed, so we need to change as well.
Sometimes, we need to think of the job we are in before acting. F & B industry needs one to be patient with customers so as to protect ur rice bowl.

I hope he don't die so that whenever he tries to abuse another chef or whoever the scar on his body will remind him of his arrogant behaviour and got him slash.
Think I will go visit the chef with chicken rice when he is in jail

So, if customer scold bad about your parents, you just smile at him. Siao liao lorI agreed with what you said, it just the chef should not act so rash, i guess he is a person who can only express his anger thru violent. And if u read, the crime was committed outside of the restaurant, it show that he do not want anyone or the boss to get involve, it an outside case with the customer. Guess he is a person who dun want to bother other. Too high in protecting his dignity and intergrity.
If he shouted back vulgarities back to the customer, he loose his job, if he call the police, police just make a report and life goes on, so in the end, he took the drastic and fatal decision.
Our police hv to be more concern and not just make report and save it, like this kind of police work, more chopping will come.
