Is saving money still relevant ?

  hi guys, Our paper money is getting lesser value each passing year making saving seems less attractive so why save if money is devalued and why work hard for it too... Any of you hard savers out there care to comment? Man, I can buy a bowl of laksa at 1 dollar in 1980 but now it cost 3 times..think about it

  you don't save, you'll be in a worser state.

  unless you wanna buy 1000 bowls of laksa and feed yourself with it for 30 years.

  with almost everything increasing, saving would be the best way to go..

  wow..many subscribers of the savers camp...how about putting money on bonds and unit trusts that reap a higher returns than banks..less risky than property and stocks but not as dead as a savings account..any thoughts

  Lol seriously..ppl fed up not only in SG but other countries too...work so hard in exchange but low value paper money...man I rather they give us food, oil, house
