Sometimes when people do not know where Singapore is, i label them as STUPID.
Singapore is such a strong and impact-ful country in ANY sense. How can they not know us? Even so, is Singapore Airlines FAKE?

Ask yourself why is SIA so successful? When you delve deeper, you'll realise SIA is under Temasek Holdings. And guess what? Temasek Holdings is the govt's disguise in trying to put a hand in all of the big businesses in Singapore and we all know it.
Can you see why when people sue SIA, they so willingly compensate and they compensate a super big sum of money? They don't have to be afraid, they have the backing of our govt.
Look at Emirates as well. They are definitely also partially funded by Dubai's govt. Hence their success as well.
If SIA is a freaking independent company with ABSOULTELY no link to our govt, I can be quite sure they won't be as successful as they are now.

If this is the case, I wonder if British Airways and some popular European airlines are partially funded by their govt. I also wonder if Malaysia airlines is partially funded by the Malaysia govt. If I'm not wrong, I believe British Airways wasn't too willing to compensate when they had check in problems at London Heathrow's new Terminal 5.

Exactly isn't it? You said it. BA wasn't too willing to compensate. If they gave super compensations, think about how much it will eat into their revenue.
In whatever way I look at it, I will still attribute a part of SIA's success to its link to the govt. Of course, I'm not totally dismissing the capabilities of the directors at SIA. This is just my opinion.
Edit: typo
since so many china ppl here in already
maybe we should call ourselves chinapore
