rushing/stress increases ur adrenaline...

or issit gastric pain? (adrenaline will cos more gastric juices to flow into stomach...in order to digest more food to convert into engery for e body to stay runnin under stress mode)

i thought adrenaline will stop digestion?
there isn't a need to get energy when your body has energy stores to run a few marathons.
IBS?
When adrenaline is secreted into the bloodstream, it rapidly prepares the body for action in emergency situations. The hormone boosts the supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain and muscles, while suppressing other non-emergency bodily processes (digestion in particular).
It increases heart rate and stroke volume, dilates the pupils, and constricts arterioles in the skin and gut while dilating arterioles in skeletal muscles. It elevates the blood sugar level by increasing catalysis of glycogen to glucose in the liver, and at the same time begins the breakdown of lipids in fat cells. (taken from wiki)
You see, ulcers basically occur when the gastric acids and other digestive juices in your stomach start to erode the lining or walls of your gut. Now, stress has been known to induce the production of gastric acids; thereby causing imbalances inside the stomach that can ultimately lead to ulcers. (taken from another forum)

stress mah. not adrenaline.
breaking down of lipids in fat cells and catalysis of glycogen in liver are not considered digestion i believe, thats from what i learnt.
