Anyone know where can I buy something like penknife or anything similar to use to craft words on soft wood? Need to know urgently. Thank you very much.
go to craft shops..
i know of one at vivocity, near the pet shop
bras brasah.
A penknife is sufficient for soft wood like balsa. If you want craft knives for tighter details, Art Friend and even Popular stock them.
Sure vivocity has one? near which pet shop?
popular @ compass point have
buy a x-acto knife, or a needle file, don't forget to get ur wood stain, finisher and filler. go to any good hardware shop and ask them, if they dun have x-acto knife ask them where else to buy, they should know.
You can get carving knives set from any stationery or arts and crafts shop, even those neighbourhood shop.
You should state where you stay so that we can try to help more productively.
Bras Basah is a sure bet.
If you are just trying to vandalise, any sharp objects will work. Tell us where to appreciate the vandalism and remember to sign off with your full name, NRIC and contact number in case we are interested in commissioning you for more projects ;)
Preferably somewhere near the west or somewhere near places like vivo...
Anywhere with Popular have riao....careful of your fingers, do not cut inwards, try to wear a pair of cheap gloves and cut with a low angle from the board.

Get a wood rasp too!!
Carving words on wood no need rasp file unless you plan to remove some wood on the side of the board.
I think the more important tool is a light rubber or wooden mallet to help you move the blade.
End of the day, it's skills that counts. Be safe with tools and make sure you clean up!
